Welcome All!
I love the Goddess (no big surprise there), but there are many ways to express our faith in
That Which Created Us. The delicate weavings of the natural world, one thing's dependency
upon another, demonstrates the immense Divine Intelligence that created it all. We are
not separate from that, in fact it's that Divinity that made us and that lives in us.
Whether we call it God, Goddess, the Tau, the Great Spirit, the Infinite, etc., isn't
as important as whether or not we sit down and spend time with That Presence.
We pray, we try to do and be good, we try to bring into control our habits so that all
that we do promotes the well being of ourselves and others. Cerebral argument about religion
is interesting, but it's nothing compared to taking our devotion, sitting down, and spending
some quality time with our Number One Best Friend.
Whether it's through the Mystical Seven Mansions of Christianity (Theresa of Avila), or any number of Eastern
meditation processes (Sri Chinmoy, Paramahansa Yogananda, etc.), or diving into heartfelt devotion
with God or Goddess or the Great It, one thing is clear; one spiritual path doesn't fit all. I might also add that the original
spiritual teachings of Yeshua Bar Yosef (Jesus son of Joseph) still exist, dispite their misuse
by everything from the Inquisition to modern divisive interpretations by various factions.
The western mainstream notion that a Monotheistic Maker is male and that anything connected
with the word ‘Goddess’ is somehow less worthy, is misguided. Logically speaking, if we are going to give
Our Maker a gender, either gender should suffice! Some people worship a God without gender
at all: The Eternal, the Everlasting, the Limitless Light. There are many powerful sacred
stories that can lead us into the Infinite. However we choose, it is our right to seek out
and discover what way of seeing will work to link us with That Which Created Us, Our
World and the Mystery That is Life.
Kind Regards,
Jennifer

Prayer to the Divine Mother
"Divine Mother, with the language of my soul I demand realization of
Thy presence. Thou art the essence of everything. Make me see
Thee in every fiber of my being, in every wisp of thought..."
